Dear ACI Suisse members
The past three years have seen abrupt changes in the global economy, economic policy responses and the realm of geopolitics. Not surprisingly, these changes triggered hefty reactions in financial markets, including money, bond and foreign exchange markets. As in past periods of economic and geopolitical turbulence, they have also raised the question as to whether the international monetary system may be subject to more long-term and fundamental changes.
On May 9th, 2023, we will have the pleasure of welcoming Nannette Hechler-Fayd‘herbe, Chief Investment Officer EMEA and Head of Global Economics & Research of Credit Suisse. She will present insights the Credit Suisse Research Institute (CSRI, the CS in-house think tank) found in a Conference late 2022 and a research piece that was subsequently published in January 2023. Nannette will give us an overview of facts and thoughts by leading experts as well as external thought leaders about key developments in the international monetary system.
