We are pleased to invite you to our next business event ‘’Cash – A growing market?’’ on Wednesday October 22nd, 2025 at Dante Hotel in Lugano.
At the event, we will learn about the situation and developments on the world cash market and touch on the handling and position of cash in the socio-economic and political environment. We also get some insights about the company Landqart, which is the only Swiss security substrate producer for banknotes and passports.
We have the pleasure of welcoming Axel Wappler, who led Landqart AG, the Swiss manufacturer of highly specialized substrates for banknotes and passports, as CEO from 2013 to 2023, and served on the board of directors of Landqart AG for three years. He previously worked as CEO and managing director in the chemical, ceramics and paper industries. He also worked as a member of the executive committee of companies in the non-ferrous metals and raw materials industries.
Today he acts as a board member and strategic advisor for companies.
